Barefoot

#17 of the challenge. There is nothing cuter than a child's pair of shoes. Unless it's their bare feet!

  1. Awww, sweet! Ok, I admit it. If I walk past the kids shoes I just have to pick them up and play with them. Lol, just caught myself staring at this. I love your use of color, and the subtle switch to shadows. Beautiful Laurie!

  3. So charming! My son, at 39, still leaves his runners scattered at the front door - so many memories!

  4. I love the way you handled the subject, the choice of colors & the dots of red that pop without distracting! My shoe paintings NEVER look this good

  5. Thank you all, so much! I have been using an acrylic color lately that I LOVE! It's Liquitex "Brilliant Blue". I almost always mix it with something, and I have discovered very cool colors by mixing with different yellows, white, magentas, and others. Try it out and let me know if you like it, too. Thanks for the wonderful compliments.
