#18 Us Four

#18 of the challenge. A small floral. I think I'm ready for spring now! I love the blues over the reds. This was very fun. Just one mark after another until I really liked it!

  1. What was your first mark? Wish I could be a fly on the wall watching you paint. Did you underpaint first with red? I like the composition. Happy to see these flowers as snow falls in my neck of the woods : )

    1. I have to admit, I can't remember. It all happened so fast yesterday. I think I had the board under painted first with another color. Then did a quick sketch maybe with blue, some reds. Then the shadows under the flowers. After the challenge, I will try to do a progression painting. Thanks Dotty!
