#26 "Are We For Real?"

#26 of the challenge. I am just barely keeping up, but I still am! So for this I needed a plan. No lounging around. No fiddling, fussing, or stalling. I needed a painting. I decided I would just concentrate on shapes and contrasts. When I was done, I felt kinda sorry for the poor people.  They don't know if they're real, but I know they're having fun!
My class started today. What a totally delightful, fun, and open group of people (with more to come!).  It's going to be a great session!

  1. Shapes are the best practice for daily painting! I find these figures interesting. You have lot of color variation there and lovely greys. This challenge is getting hard indeed .. for me too. It is surprising how long 30 days is to paint.

  7. Laurie, perfect title! I love the way this painting sits on a balance point between representational and abstract.

I am slack-jawed that you are starting your class today while also finishing up the 30-in-30 challenge. I'm the one above with the blue hair and cute little black dress, exclaiming my awe!

  8. WOW! I don't know how you managed to keep things separate, I went a little cross-eyed just looking at it - lol. Only you!
