"Trust"

I snapped this photo last summer at a park. This dog was way bigger than this little girl. She was scared and very tentative, but curious. She finally reached out with such trust and love in her face! I just found it so endearing!
I am enjoying my oils so much again! Maybe my new little makeshift studio will become permanent.....

  1. The softnesses, the two-way trust, those little fingers on that big shaggy white head. So sweet. Love the compositional element of the bit of park picnic table. Love the shadows on little girl's shirt, sweats, and shoes. Love that you're enjoying your oils so much again!

  5. Thank you Dotty, Sheila, and Val!! Your comments are so appreciated. Yes, I AM having so much fun painting again. YAY for puppy maturing. I'm still chasing him around the house trying to retrieve my shoes, paintbrush, lint, dustball, comb, etc etc, that he gets in his mouth, but it's getting better!
