"Special Guest"

#5 of the challenge. I have done these scenes several times (from memory?) Yet I don't remember ever being in a scene like this, so I'm not sure of the origin. But I enjoy the mysterious and spiritual thoughts I have as I paint these people. I just know they're about to experience something very enlightening!

  1. My first thought when I saw this was that it reminds me of the gathering in the movie Logan's Run. "Carrousel" was supposed to be a celebration and spiritual renewal. LOL, have no idea why that popped in my head. Maybe it is your prayerful blues, or joyful greens :) Love it Laurie :)

  2. Love the title, love the interplay of horizontals and verticals, love the mystery of where this repeat scene comes from, love how you coax people out of a few dabs of paint.

    1. Thanks, Dotty! Some of the people had to be strongly coaxed! It's mostly negative painting.

    2. Wow!

Some of them probably had to be strongly coaxed up the steps into church, too. Just saying.
