Town Without Pity

#9 of the challenge. This is one of my "one mark at a time" paintings (from some kind of memory). Not that all paintings aren't one mark at a time, but when I paint like this, I'm all over the painting, back and forth, back and forth.
It's very fun, and I can keep pretty loose. And the title? I guess you'd have to be old enough to remember the song. I always loved Gene Pitney!

  1. Have you made a video yet? I'd love to see how a painting of yours such as this comes into being : )

  2. Had to find that song on Youtube, but I think it is still gonna stay in my head all day. LOL Love this sunny scene Laurie. Wouldn't it be great to live up above the shops and look out on to that view each day. I can hear the seagulls now :)
