Don't Kick Me to the Curb!

#26 of the challenge. This is just a little textured piece. These poor birds aren't getting along well right now. Maybe a worm wasn't shared, maybe a comment was made, maybe someone got poked by a long beak. But they have decided who the instigator is. The rest is...well...history. And all this drama in a 5x7 little canvas board.

  1. Oh, those cold unforgiving beady eyes, the shadows of scorn, the shadow of shame (you are MASTERFUL with your shadows; I love them every single time). Glad I'm not in the thick of this but can observe from a distance.

    Oh.

    Wait.

Am I supposed to drum up some resolve and courage and compassion and offer an effort to stop the bullying?

    Crud.

    1. Yes, Dotty, I was certainly hoping you'd come up with some kind of intervention here!

  4. They do say 'what goes round, comes round' but the poor bird! This piece seems much too precise for the size you mentioned - it seems bigger - lol. A delight as always Laurie.

  5. I hope it wasn't an eyeball that got poked! Ouch! Looks like on top of being shunned, he also has two left feet. Just can't win :/
