Leap of Faith

#14 Another "mark by mark" painting. Fun as can be. These people are all interested and anxious, though a little wary, about what's in there. But they do know that it's good.

  1. Really creative, Laurie. Love the halos over the heads of the figures in the rear. Powerful color palette, too. Lookin' very good!!

    1. Thanks, Chris- the halo look was just an accident, and I thought it was cool. Thanks for noticing that!

  2. I really wish I lived close enough to you (or that I could stand travelling) so that I could see how you do this. Fabulous!

    1. Thanks, Val! Well you'll just have to take a trip to Michigan!

  3. Being an introvert, I am not big on crowds. But your gatherings always look so lively I just want to join in :) Love how you find ways to add more color, like on their legs. And how the brightest red (orange?) moves my eye around the canvas :) You are a Master!

  4. Laurie, loving the bits of cubist energy here, the arms and legs akimbo, the movement towards uncertainty.
