Serenity

Boy, I go from a "doctor" dog, to a comforting angel! Maybe the angel is trying to protect us from the doctor dog! This is # 5 of the challenge. It is a mixed media (acrylic, watercolor, ink) on fabric. It is mounted on an 11x14 canvas with deep painted gallery edges, so there is no need for a frame. Finished with a protective varnish. Free shipping for the challenge month!

  4. New banner at your blog : )

An angel offering up serenity—I am grateful. (Please note the title of my Day 5 painting!) I love SERENITY's being a little raggedy, love the various asymmetries.

  5. A super piece Laurie. I like that it seems a bit out of focus as I doubt one would see an angel clearly. Always something interesting from your paint brush!
