It's been a while since I've been on my computer (I know you can blog from your phone, but I haven't upgraded my phone in a while😕). Anyways, dogs have been keeping me busy! These are recent commissioned pieces: Griff, Maxie, Murphy, and Stanley. I loved doing them all! More recent artwork to come!

I am enjoying your use of contrasts within each of these paintings—dark nose/tongues/eyes vs light fur and backgrounds; and soft loose brush strokes that suggest more than delineate vs sharp precise lines that define. Also commanding attention: your use of the eyes to create a focal point in each rendering—deftly using paint with seeming magic to convey the deep animated intelligence of Griff, Maxie, Murphy, and Stanley. Brava!
