Move Over

This is a painting from a couple years ago. My colors have changed a bit since then, and I almost totally re-did it. It is fun to do that so the poor painting can get out of the corner!

Let's Sit

This is 8x10 and oil. I thought about adding more to it, then decided to leave it as is. The only thing it needs is a friend to join me!

Don't You Go

I was the victim of another relentless song in my head while painting this. This time it was Motown (Being born in Detroit, who wouldn't love Motown music?). The title is a line from the song, "Ain't too Proud to Beg", by the Temptations. How fun! This couple was spotted by me in Leland, Michigan, just wandering around. It's 5x7 and acrylic.

Gossip Birds-the Next Generation

I don't know if you've seen the first "Gossip Birds", but they're expanding their families now. All they do is stare at people and gossip. That's it. My daughter said I should do a third, and call it Gossip Birds-the Final Flight. How silly......and I'm trying to be serious(!).
These girls are flying away to a new home! uh oh, I feel something coming......!

I Remember the Night

This is my first painting since the challenge. It seems weird not to give it a number! I found myself singing one song over and over throughout this painting. It was Ricky Nelson's "Travelin Man" (!?!). Anyways, when it came time to give it a title, I took one of the lines from it. Made it easy! It's 11x14 Acrylic, and available on auction on dailypaintworks. Thank you all again for the comments on my 30 in 30!
