Another little pup! I am mentally preparing for the January 30 and 30. Buying supplies, cleaning my studio, etc, are all the obvious things to do but it's the subject matter that always gets me. I run out of ideas! I have a hard time sticking to one theme for 30 days, too, so I'm just trying to come up with something. How lucky can a girl be than to have the "problem" of what to paint!
Once again, LOVE your use of color and your ability to create such softness, with just the right touch of defined edges. As ever, your painting has so much movement; my eyes cannot stop looking here, looking there, then back here, and on and on.
ReplyDeleteI am SO overloaded right now. Have metaphorical blinders on so I can stay focused on nothing more than where my feet are right this very (and only) moment. I plan to do the 30 in 30 but I'm thinking there may not be one iota of prep, mental or otherwise, before the 1st!
But Dotty, you seem to thrive on spontaneity!
DeleteThank you for your nice comments..
DeleteJust love your sweet pups, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the January 30-30 is almost here... Thirty days of your beautiful paintings - the best way to start the new year!
Ditto, Chris..Hope to see yours, too! Especially those elephants. I mean the dogs. I mean all of it!
DeleteLove this! Ditto on what Dotty said... your colors, softness... so much to look at and enjoy! I am not even mentally prepared for Christmas, much less the 30 in 30. High five to you for being ahead! I can't wait to see you work each day! Always a joy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sheila for your comments. I must admit, I don't have a lot to do for Christmas. Just looking forward to being together and eating great food! I have great intentions for doing 30 paintings, but we'll see...sometimes great plans go awry!
