#29 of the challenge. Inspired by a photo I took at the Becky Joy workshop. But a shiny object distracted me, and therefore, it looks nothing like the photo. But the meaning is simple: sometimes all we want to do is to just be home. Funny, it's a simple word. But for those of us who are so so lucky, it's a place of refuge, of comfort, of acceptance. A word to be cherished for sure!
This scene is so beautiful Laurie :) The curved path, the old fence, the slightly overgrown greenery. I love the house, just my style...small and cozy. And as always, your light is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Laurie. I hate to see the challenge end!! Your paintings are the highlight of my day!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful piece - Well done Laurie!
ReplyDeleteI have looked through all 30 in 30 this go round and this one and number 10 are a tie for me. I like the color and content of #10, and this one has such a whimsical quality - I love the landscape rising up to the house, it reminds me of the nursery rhyme ~ "There Was a Crooked Man"
