So this started out as just two ladies out and about. Suddenly the three behind them showed up! It's a swanky mall, and the two ladies feel good today. Those young and thin model types ain't got nothin on them! These two women have come a long way. Long enough to know who they are, what they've learned, and mostly how the coolness factor is still there. At least that's what I tell myself.
Until all the times I've been busted by my kids......
Attitude is everything. I know because I read it in Cosmo... I think I was 18. Pretend you are confident, and people will think you are. And soon you will really feel that way. LoL
ReplyDeleteThese two are the coolest chicks in Smithville!!
Thanks Sheila!! Ha! I always told my kids to "visualize", and my daughter says "act as if". All variances of that wise, wise Cosmos article!

Regardless of the story, although I agree they are very cool, this is a fabulous painting. Laurie.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val!
ReplyDeleteI got to the mall early, and I've been sitting at a table reading, looking up every five lines or so … are they here yet? are they here yet? And now they are! Let the gab begin! Love my friends, love how cool they are, love that they so totally know who they are.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, my favorite part of this painting? Those two swanky ladies front and center, with the stories held in their expressive upper torsos. Dynamite.
Thanks, Dotty! You just had me looking at the upper torsos. Yes, lots of stories!
