Boy, I go from a "doctor" dog, to a comforting angel! Maybe the angel is
trying to protect us from the doctor dog! This is # 5 of the challenge.
It is a mixed media (acrylic, watercolor, ink) on fabric. It is mounted
on an 11x14 canvas with deep painted gallery edges, so there is no need
for a frame. Finished with a protective varnish. Free shipping for the
challenge month!

DeleteJust love the mixing and blending of colorThe dapples of light catch my eye, and the light in general is.. divine. This caught my eye right off Laurie. Glorious :)
ReplyDeleteGlorious.....divine.....have I ever told you I love your vocabulary, Sheila?
DeleteNew banner at your blog : )
ReplyDeleteAn angel offering up serenity—I am grateful. (Please note the title of my Day 5 painting!) I love SERENITY's being a little raggedy, love the various asymmetries.
Thank you, Dotty , as always!
DeleteA super piece Laurie. I like that it seems a bit out of focus as I doubt one would see an angel clearly. Always something interesting from your paint brush!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val!
