#24 of the challenge. Just a few pals hanging around. The red one is the more mature, and is prepared to discipline the little ones if need be. Or maybe it's me that needs the discipline now......6 more to go, and I'm attaching human qualities to flowers, boats, dogs, etc. Why not? They have feelings, too!:)

I'm loving the little 'hidey hole' in the top white flower—that soft shadowy little space protected by petals. A sweet little spot in which to curl up listen while unnoticed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dotty. Sometimes I feel like curling up and not being noticed, too!
DeleteLove the way the leaves radiate outwards. Love the unfinished look in the bottom right, and the thick paint, and that glorious orange (s)!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your observations on this Sheila!
DeleteA super painting Laurie, and having a little story to go with your painting gives it a bit more life. I think the little white flower has already been disciplined and is hiding, tucked away in the background.
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks, Val!
DeleteYou are so about COLOR - and I love that your paintings are so vibrant and cheery! I think you can make up stories about anything you paint - this one is definitely fun. Your florals are so perfect!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pattie!
