#28 of the challenge. As anyone can see, I love doing these birds! Didn't even plan it this time. I just started with the three strokes of dark paint and went from there. Really fun, and when I was finished, the title came from THEM. They just looked like they wanted to start some more mischief and one of them is uncomfortable with it. Goofy.
Great colors in your birds, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteThose birds have attitude!Gorgeous colors and those legs are the BEST!
ReplyDeleteThe birds are so wonderful and whimsical! I love the legs too!

ReplyDeleteLaurie, I can feel myself standing on my mile-high long skinny legs, can feel my wing feathers tucked in tight at my side, have my beak raised up in hauteur: Indeed, I am NOT getting involved again!
ReplyDeleteYour ability to convey internal landscape with body gesture: magnificent.
Not the usual color for the birds - they look like fashion ladies and I can imagine them conspiring to 'fix-up' a friend with one hesitant. Super piece.
ReplyDeleteLong tall Sally, and Sadie and scheming Sarah are at it again. LOL. I want legs up to my elbows too :) Love them!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
