The Bond

#17 of the challenge. I have used this reference photo before. I took it because I loved the connection, the love, and the protection that this young dad and his son conveyed. 
It is on a wide painted gallery edge canvas. No framing, and it looks wonderful sitting on a shelf or table.

    So sweet :) Sometimes the simplicity of your work, it amazes me Laurie. There is really very little detail, and still, so much feeling is conveyed. I always get caught up in details, and I admire this talent of yours ;)

      Thanks, Sheila! I get caught up in detail, too. I have to make a conscious decision all the time to put a brushstroke down and leave it. It's not automatic(darn!).
